He Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation released a statement on Wednesday, warning boaters, landowners, fishermen, and others who enjoy recreation on, or live, on or near the Grand Lake of the Cherokee, asking everyone to excercise extreme caution after a confirmed sighting of an alligator estimated to be between 22 and 28 feet in length, in the shallow waters of the lake near the area of Big Hollow.
