AMC's sudden cancellation of "Preacher" is proving shocking and angering to fans of the strange, violent and mythical show.
"It's all about ratings," co-creator and executive producer Seth Rogen said, "and we just didn't have the ratings."
Co-creator Evan Goldberg, fighting back tears, said "This was our baby. We loved the show, as did our fans, but I guess most people found Preacher to just be too weird."
The good news? "Preacher" will continue to air until the current season concludes. "Preacher" airs Sundays at 10pm on AMC.
