A local San Diego man has come forward to claim his $1.2 million dollar Mega Millions prize. Christopher Miner, who did not want his picture published, matched four numbers plus the Mega number in March 3rds drawing. California law requires all winners must be made public. Christopher was missing only one number of the total jackpots of $174.8 Million.

One ticket matching all numbers was sold in Tempe, Arizona to a retired school teacher, Phillis Simon. Christopher plans on moving out of state buying a home and investing his winnings. After taxes, Christopher will take home $868,496.
