Alligator eats three Trion residents

It was a normal day when the locals wanted to go for their daily swim and fish trip to the Chattooga river in the middle of Trion. The water is a murky colored bluish, gray from the raw sewage that is dumped into the river. "But the best tasting fish come from that river!", replied a local resident. "The one with 2 heads was the best!", replied another local by the name of Jane M.
They loaded up in the truck, swimming trunks, fishing poles and guns and headed to their parking spot off of Back Penn road. Once there, they ran to the rope swing and all took turns swinging into the cool, cloudy water for a nice cool down during these hot and humid July days.
It wasn't until 2 hours later that one of the crew noticed that Gil was missing. Nobody got overly concerned as it was normal for Gil to get lost and find his way back to the group. But then Bobby Dan noticed Gil's head in a small cove. Panic set in!
At that moment, 2 alligators attacked at the same time taking out 2 other folks in the group! "It was just a bloody mess in the water and all I could do was just watch!", said Miffy. "I'm glad I got my fishing in when I got here. I still got something to eat tonight." said Joe.
The authorities were called and the gators were caught and eaten that night. The town cop says to be more careful about swimming in this area. The gators are gone, but there could be more. They ask for prayers for the all families involved at this time. Also, feel free to bring food over during this difficult time somebody said.
