On July 24, 2017, The United States Navy informed formerly retired First Class Petty Officer Zachary Kiser that he was to report back to work immediately. Mr. Kiser was informed that an open investigation of his service record revealed that he had only served a total of 18 years and 6 months. Apparently, Mr. Kiser failed to properly report and address roughly 1 year and 6 months that he spent away from his Naval duties to enjoy fishing and playing softball. This just goes to show that, in the Armed Forces, there really is always an extra set of eyes on you at all times.
