Recently, there have been several reports in our own local Rice Lake of a large "shark" in the water. As with any inland water report of a shark, it is written off as a hoax, until this recent photo sent in by one our own DNR agents.
Local officials have asked that residents, and visitors, please refrain from swimming until the lake has been deemed safe again for swimming and other water sports.
