Following his example in April, President Trump has donated his after-tax installment of his salary to the Department of Education (DOE). Citing that precedent, DOE officials (except Secretary DeVos) foresee a large cut in their budget for FY18.

Trump donated $78,333.32 (his $100,000 quarterly salary, minus taxes) to the National Parks Service in April. This is after he proposed a $1.5 billion reduction in the Department of Interior's budget. His donation, 0.005 percent of the reduction, goes a long way in negating the reduction. Trump stated that all that is needed is for 20,000 other federal employees to also donate $78,000, and it'd be like nothing was reduced from the DOI budget.

The Department of Education is bracing for the accompanying budget cut. Inside sources state that the DOE was chosen since it has supported public education of students in various subjects, including mathematics. People educated in mathematics are expected to be able to calculate various damaging evidence against the Trump Administration, such as how much is being spent on Trump's golfing trips, which occur at 8 times the rate as his predecessor, Barack Obama. (Also, Trump's trips are mainly to his own properties, causing the government to spend millions on security. Obama mainly went golfing at government golf courses at locations close to DC, necessitating much less security spending.)

His next quarterly payment, coming in October, is projected to go to the Department of Defense. The subsequent cut will be covered by the saving from discharging all the transsexual military personnel.
