Hartselle was named the newest city in the ever expanding Chick-fil-A universe. The store is slated for opening late Fall of 2017 just off the I-65 and Hwy 36 intersection.

Jeffrey Groth will operate the new location. The store will be hiring full and part time employees for all positions including leadership, kitchen and customer-facing roles.

The restaurant will celebrate the opening with its popular "First 100" event that gives the first 100 customers in line digital gift cards good for a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals.

The giveaway is open to adults 18 and older with identification who live within certain zip codes in Alabama who are in line at 6 a.m. For more information on the rules, see Chick-fil-A's website.

The restaurant is also hosting a premiere night party for 100 guests featuring free food before the location opens. For details on how to enter, watch the location's Facebook page.
