HOLLYWOOD (AP) -- Peter Jackson, director of the upcoming "Lord of the Rings: The Musical," announced Sunday that producers had signed singer Justin Bieber to play the role of Frodo.
Fans gathered at a Rodeo Drive gaming store for a marathon reading of the J.R.R. Tolkien trilogy did not welcome the news.
"As soon as I heard, I couldn't stop gnashing my teeth," said fan Cyril Johnson.
