Word is spreading that there will be no Thanksgiving this year. The holiday that once was, is now being protested by BLM.

We interviewed Brenda Lafonte, an Arkansas native, BLM supporter. We asked why they believe Thanksgiving should be removed from the federal holiday list. Brenda replied in a brief statement. "Ain't nobody going to support Christopher Columbus or them white pilgrims that raped and tortured them indians, we want justice and we want it now!"

Currently the statue of Christopher Columbus is being protested and will most likely be removed by December 2017. In other notes, BLM still requests to be paid holiday pay for Thanksgiving regardless of the removal of the holiday. When we asked a protesting crowd how they felt about the removal of the holiday which of course will affect pay, One BLM protestor shouted " We still wants that money"!
