Ford just announced Sunday August 27, 2017 that they were recalling all Ford's manufactured since 1990. This unprescedented move was announced after years of terrible rust and bad reliability reports. What pushed it over the edge was the reports of transmission and driveshaft issues on all rear wheel drive models. The number of vehicles is currently unknown, but estimates place it over a billion vehicles. Ford is saying that they can fall apart or break down at any time and should not be driven on the road until all recall issues are fixed. At any time, rust or drivetrain caused problems can occur such as body panels falling off, driveshaft falling while driving, or anything else related. The case may very well be the demise of the entire Ford and Lincoln company and cause eventual shutdown due to how terrible they made their vehicles.
