Superstar Garth Brooks was stopped by cops after picking up a transsexual prostitute in a notorious West Dallas Gentlemens Club early this morning.

But his publicist, Paul Block, last night insisted Brooks simply was giving the weeping, weary-looking prostitute a ride home.

“She asked him for a ride, and Garth did so, like he had helped people in the past,” Block said. “Nothing happened at all, but Garth said he will never do this again.”

The married father of three — best known for his his integration of rock and roll elements into the country genre has earned him immense popularity in the United States. Brooks has had great success
on the country single and album charts with multi-platinum recordings and record-breaking live performances, while also crossing over into the mainstream pop arena — was released without being charged with a crime, cops said.

But Brooks’s passenger, a 20-year-old transsexual named Atisone Seiuli, was arrested on the spot after cops found he had an outstanding prostitution warrant.

Seiuli pleaded guilty to violating probation early this morning and was sentenced to 90 days at the Dallas County Men’s Central Jail, according to Deputy Benta Nichol.

Brooks was not charged with a crime because “investigation revealed no illegal activity had occurred,” sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Mike Ford said.

The undercover cops followed the two for about 2 miles. They pulled them over at the corner of Van Ness and Rawley Aves, for questioning.

After identifying Seiuli as a prostitute, cops arrested him.

Brooks — who is married to Thrisha Yearwood, would not make any comments but did state she had filed for divorce last month.
This mornings incident was the latest in a string of troubles for the Country Music Superstar.
