Niantic and Nintendo have been working on Generation 3 for their hit game, Pokémon Go, for quite some time! After making the code, candy, moves etc. they only had sprites to make next. Yushtoki Miyazaki claims (producer of Pokémon Go) "I had no idea the sprites were not finished! I released them without hesitation!" As Pokémon Go workers try to delete the Generation 3 Pokémon the barcode for an unknown Pokémon, started appearing with the name of Missingno.
