One radio host is doing his best with sharing his love for the Southern Gospel genre over the air-waves in the Ozarks. However, despite his following of dedicated listeners during the mid-day, the mainstream media has ignored his efforts in getting more people to tune in.
"It can be disheartening at times," admits Matt Paasch. "I often wonder how many of my friends join me every day. I make posts on social media, send out emails, and even answer the phones when they call."
His passion for the music isn’t going unnoticed. Numbers have been great for KWFC Radio. With a humble beginning in 1969, they are the 1 choice for Southern Gospel in the mid-west. With faithful listeners and support throughout the community, the station is the true "Sound of Home" for the area.
Does Matt have any fear of the future? "No way!" he concludes, "Southern Gospel is here to stay and will always be here to enjoy!"
