WASHINGTON, DC September 13, 2017 Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and Gary Cohn announced from the podium today that National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn will be leaving the White House to join Steve Bannon as co-CEO of Breitbart News.

"I'm proud of my tenure heading the NEC," Cohn stated. "It's been an honor to define and execute the economic policies that have led to 11,000,000 new jobs since January."

In addition to his co-CEO management duties, Cohn plans to be a front-line journalist for Breitbart. "I see myself doing man-on-the-street reporting," Cohn declared. "I want to interpret citizens' views on key economic indicators all the while creating great content." He cited the number of Youtube hits sites like the The Tonight Show garner when they reach out to the public. "We'd like to be for conservatives what Fallon is to late night," Cohn added.
