Are you a fan of that sweet, delicious liquid that either gets you high on sugar or truly buzzed (it's hard to tell sometimes). It's best to stalk up now, as Barefoot is removing their famous Moscato from the shelves by October 1, 2018.
Barefoot founder and C.E.O., Paul Herman, said "It's really all got to do with sugar content. America is really sensitive to that right now, so we are trying to do our part in helping ensure products meet a certain threshold."
Moscato lovers everywhere are devastated by the news.
"It's not right," Alice Chipman of Louisiana said. "We don't care about the sugar and if we want to put it in our body that's our right."
Herman stands by his decision and vows to make more health friendly products from here on out.
"I've spoken to other Moscato manufacturers," Herman said, "and you can expect all Moscato to be discontinued eventually; we are just paving the way."
