A consortium of mobile phone carriers have identified the two people who send the most text messages back and forth to each other. Jessica Estreicher and Debra Ellsworth, both of Maplewood, NJ, have sent a recorded 32,500,000 text messages to each other since the carriers began keeping records. No other pair of people have exchanged more than a couple hundred thousand messages. The mobile carriers expressed their condolences to the husbands and families of the two women.
