The Giants, and more specifically Eli Manning, were thrown around by Ezekiel Ansah and the Detroit Lions on Monday Night. The Lions defense was dominant on the way to a 24 to 10 win. Eli Manning in particular was hit around quite a lot, being sacked 5 times. On the fifth and final sack, Eli was seen heading to the sideline and eventually the locker room holding his left arm. A diagnosis has come in and shows that he has an unidentified fracture in his left arm that could keep him out anywhere from 4 weeks to the entire season. Needless to say the Giants are desperate to find out the severity of the injury but they are expecting him to be out for at least one month. Rookie Davis Webb will likely fill in for him in the meantime.
