In December 2017, Applebee's plans to come to Van Wert. The newest branch of this franchise will be built on the Towne Center Blvd, close to the Walmart shopping area. The restaurant plans to replace its iconic Quesadilla burger with its new Zombie burger, made with fresh brains and a rancid green sauce.
