The popular "fake news" website tricked another internet user, Chad Clevenger. The creator of the website said "It's understandable and it happens all of the time. I mean, it helped Trump win the election. He shouldn't feel bad because we put these things out all of the time. People can't tell the difference".

Regulators don't know what to do about the fake news problem, Timothy Bear, head of The Department of Media Regulation said: "We don't want to stop people from communicating, but we have a problem at hand".

Bear gave the following ways you can spot fake news:

1) Click the website and see the "about us" section. If it seems fishy, it's probably fake.

2) Google the name of the site owner and see what organizations they are linked with. By understanding who the site owners are affiliated with, you can better understand their motivation for publishing a story.

3) Check the name of the site. If it seems weird, it's probably fake.

4) Reputable Media companies hire editors to make things very specific and understandable. If you don't see names of people, vague language, or misspellings, you're probably being tricked.
