A woman in Toronto, Canada was suffering from a rare skin condition that allowed her to be bitten by the spider Pholcus phalangioides, also known as the Daddy Long Legs spider. The spider is widely known to be one of the world's most venomous spiders. Luckily for most people, it is not able to pierce the skin of humans and is therefore not considered dangerous. Judy Flemming had a rare skin condition that caused her skin to be very fragile which allowed the spider to inject it's venom.
Friends and family of Judy are accepting donations to the End Spiders Now foundation.
