September 22, 2017 - With many retailers focusing primarily on, online sales, Victoria's Secret has decided that it's daughter store, "Pink", would better suit the cyber market with an estimated profit to be in the billions. Like many retailers located in malls, and with declining sales , Victoria's Secret is seeing this decision as a necessary strategic move to keep up with the demands of online consumers.

"We are looking at this as a strategic move, before a loss happens", Victoria's Secret CEO, Jan Singer explained. "We have a marketing team that's sole responsibility, is to keep up with what is trending. Unfortunately, online sales are dominating the market and having seen the number of casualties in Mall sales, now is the time to make this move.

This decision comes after Payless Shoe stores decided to immediately close as many as 400 "under-performing" stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico in an effort to reduce their debt by 50 percent.

When asked when consumers could expect this move, Jan Singer replied, "We hope to have all stores closed by November to set our focus on Black Friday, and Cyber Monday sales".
