Corpse found at Virginia Beach hotel

June 16, 2017 at approximately 10:00 a.m. A guest staying the Surfbreak Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA reported to the front desk that a horrible stench was coming from the 8th floor. She reported to authorities that as she was leaving her room to head to the beach, a powerful foul smell invaded the entire floor. It was so powerful that she vomited and pooped on herself after smelling the decomposing body. Upon arriving at the hotel, he cadaver dogs were able to immediately find the dead body, which was stuffed into the middle of a mattress next to the lady's room. The housekeepers reported that they had not smelled anything and thought it was just very unsanitary people who had stayed in the hotel room. The police have not made any arrests and have no leads at this time. The corpse was identified as a male, however his age and ethnicity has not been.able.to bebe identified yet. Further investigation into the case has been ongoing.
