A two year old toddler managed to escape from her preschool, nab a battery-powered quad on the way out, and cruise nearly a mile on open highway before being reported by a flabbergasted motorist, police said today. The 2 year old walked to Once apon a child and drove off in a PowerWheels Quad. Although the quad's wires had been unhooked, the child reattached them, pulling off the price tag for good measure. She then proceeded down Colerain Avenue escaping police thru nearby yards. The child managed to make a quick pit stop at a local liquor store, stole a case of Budweiser only to get pulled over by the police 30 minutes later!
Police later accounted for her familiarity with the escape vehicle's specs when they discovered she had the same PowerWheel at her grandparents house. The quad was returned to the store unscratched. Unfortunately the parents had too pay for the consumed Budweiser.
