The announcement was released late Wednesday that the upcoming, recently trademarked "Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger" would be the final season of the franchise that originated in 1975. This comes after years of declining viewership and diminishing toy sales that the series relied on so heavily. There is no word yet how this will impact Saban's Power Rangers franchise which uses the action scenes from Super Sentai series spliced in with English speaking actors.
