Earlier this week Disney channel announced their big news. They are taking away their app. They have been think about this for a while . Many study's have been done that kids watch way to much television. Disney has been a big factor for kids. Many families have hulu, Netflix, Disney now, or Nickelodeon. With all these ways to watch TV on the go kids are watching way to much TV. Kids watch television or play on devices when they are board at home. Then adding ways to watch when on the go is allowing them to watch more TV instead of being social. "Kids need to be more social and interact with each other" said Robert A. Iger the CEO of Disney. "By taking our apps off the app stores we are hoping that kids will become more active and go outside and play more." Robert explained during his conference. Many people will be disappointed that we are taking it away but we want kids to more active and social. It was a long and hard choose but we think it is the best chose for the kids.
