Sean Lewis of Conception Bay South has won Top Chef Canada and the top prize of $100,000! Lewis is originally from Grand Falls-Windsor but moved to the East Coast 10 years ago to find work in the IT sector. His winning recipe was Chicken Cordon Bleu with a twist! Instead of using ham, as is used in most recipes, Lewis used moose. Lewis hit the moose with his SUV on the Outer Ring Road and decided to use the road kill in his latest creation! Judges were especially impressed when he served the meal to them on the antlers of the moose. Word has it that Jeremy Charles is now using Lewis as a consultant for his new restaurant, The Moose is Loose and Lewis will now be a regular food contributor on The Marilyn Dennis Show.
