A blackout is scheduled to start at noon Monday October 23 till 11pm. The Blackout is so Hydro One can disconnect from the old grid and power up the new system at the Hound Chutes location. Power will be off in Cobalt, North Cobalt, Haileybury, Diamond, Hwy 65 West as far as Twin Lakes and Hwy 65 East to the Quebec border.
Please use caution at traffic lights and treat them as 4 way stops. Do not use BBQ's indoors for heat or cooking. Watch water levels in your basement as your sump pump will not have power.
