The Prime Minister of Canada will pay a 20 minute visit to a resident of a small Hamlet in Nunavut, after a press release from the PMO. Keith Nimiqtaqtuq of Gjoa Haven (Uqshuqtuuq) located on the King William Island has been in contact with Nunavut's MP Hunter Tootoo in August of 2017 to make plans with the PM's private meeting. "This is a shock to me" said Nimiqtaqtuq at a Nunatsiaq News conference. "Does this happen often?" Nimiqtaqtuq looks forward at the private meeting with the PM. The details have not yet been released as to the purpose of the meeting between a small community in the Arctic and the Prime Minister. Peter Taptuna Nunavut's Premier will also welcome Justin Trudeau at his arrival to the Hamlet. Follow up on more details in the next week.
