There has long been tales of pirates stashing their treasures along the shores of North America but now there is proof. A local man from Daniel's Harbour, Newfoundland has found a chest of treasure with what he calls "The Mother Load of treasures". The man wishes to remain anonymous at this point as he seeks legal advice on his treasure find. He goes on to say that "In addition to the treasure itself, there is also identification proof of the pirate that buried it there in the year 1722" He claims the chest belonged to Bartholomew Roberts or Black Bart as he was often called. Roberts was the most successful pirate in history plundering over 400 ships.
