Trump administration Chief of Staff Kelly, responding to Democratic accusations that the wealthiest cabinet in US history has been actively undermining democracy in favour of dictatorship-like rule, insists that "Trump Nation will be the MOST Democratic, wonderful, and fair business in modern history." Struck by the comparison of the country to a corporate entity, Jim Shuto of CNN asked Kelly "In a democracy such as the one in which we live, do you not find it the least bit disconcerting that so many of your administration's officials are directly benefitting financially, from the upcoming proposed tax plan?" In answer to Shuto's question, Kelly first insisted that the American Middle Class would benefit the most, regardless of the facts indicating otherwise, to which Shuto seemed unable to respond - his jaw dropped, and Kelly asked him "Are you an empty barrel, Jim??"
Following this unprecedented exchange, the FOX News reporter in attendance, rather than ask a question of Kelly, stated "FOX is behing you guys 100! Heil Herr Trump!" To which Kelly replied "We disavow," following the statement with an exaggerated wink.
