On Wednesday afternoon beachcombers Amber Thorne along with her Daughter Lexus were looking for shells, rocks and the usual things that you'd find on a beach when Lexus looked over and noticed something very big, She hollered ," Mom what's that over there" ?
There walked over about 20 feet and they both couldn't believe there eyes ! They were a bit nervous but took this photo of the Mammoth Turtle. Called local News .
The Turtle is now in the care of Amber and Lexus living outside fenced up and doing well.
