Ms. Smith was driving down I-270 near Missouri Bottom Road when a tractor trailer collided into the back of the vehicle at speeds of 65mph. Ejecting her out of the car into oncoming traffic. According to other drivers , the tractor trailer was reportedly driving the trailer at high unsafe speeds. No other car were involved in the accident. St. Louis County Police say, this accident could have been easily avoided had the trailer driver just slowed down . Reports stated that the 26 year old victim was air lifted to Missouri Baptist and is in critical condition.
