November 3, 2009 (ELMHURST, Ill.) -- One man has been arrested in connection with a robbery last week of two men.On October 27, two men in their early 20s reported that they were robbed at gunpoint around 9:40 p.m. in the area of Elm and Second streets in Elmhurst. One offender reportedly punched the victims in the heads, knocking one victim to the ground causing major injuries. Then pulled out a black, semi-automatic handgun, and robbed both victims of cell phones, wallets, One victim claim to be carrying an amount of $5,000 but was never recovered.
Elmhurst police arrested Darnell S. Olive, 18, Chicago. He was charged with aggravated robbery.
