An investigation is underway after a teenage girl was found unresponsive inside of a basement in her home early this evening and later pronounced dead, Lancaster county police said.
The teenager was found at a home located in the 1000 block of Mondrian Terrace around 2:25 p.m.
When officers got to the home they found the unresponsive teenager inside of the basement. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
