On sunday October 29, 2017 officer's recieved a call about "shots" on the block of 13th and Lacrosse. Officers had arrived at the home of Guadalupe Herrera(51) "he said he didnt know what had happened only thing he said was " i saw my son run out really fast and next thing i heard was some shots im scared for him. His son Alonso Herrera (16) was later found on the block of 16th and Lacrosse where they searched him for drugs and weapons. He is now under custody and is awaiting trail.
