In a strange twist of events, home coffee makers, including the popular Vertuoline, may be confiscated as part of the ongoing Russia investigation. One source stated that " the connection appears to be unclear, but it looks like everyone should be prepared to have their coffee makers taken away from them". In addition, the public is being advised to not take the confiscation personally. Over the years, there have been product recalls and such by which the consumer must relinquish their items.
