Colleen Doherty 22, of the Skeoge area has pleaded guilty to theft after being caught on CCTV. The young mother of 1 was seen by by-passers on November 2nd putting nappies into her handbag and walking out of the Co-op store in Galliagh and later identified by staff by name. Miss Doherty revealed that she’s has been struggling and felt like she had no other choice. Doherty apologies for her actions knowing they were wrong and has agreed to pay the money back to the shop. Judge McElhom has threw matters out of court on the grounds Miss Doherty follows through with her agreement.
