Council bans christmas in schools

Councils across the country have taken the drastic step to ban all Christmas activities in the run up too the end of term. This was taken into account after a poll which suggested the following -
1. Teachers are fed up hearing Xmas carols in November
2. Cleaning operatives spend more time scraping glitter of floors than doing their daily tasks
3. Afterschool clubs and nursery's are not taking into consideration that some staff don't like Xmas, and parents are fed up of being covered in glitter .
The radical move comes in force next week , before the beginning of school on Monday. Parents are up in arms about this decision but the council are disregarding it as a settling phase and promise this will go ahead as planned .
