In light of recent recommendations in this year's fire safety week Government is putting to paper a bill that would see the ban of fire burning stoves in any building not classed as a residents.
Citizens of the island would have until 2020 to switch to what they deam as a much safer option of electric. They will be hearing the public in open forums accross the island but warn of heavy fines should legislature pass and citizens found to be in non-compliance .
