Bowie, Md — local beloved beast known as, Chico is set to become the newest addition to the Dallas Cowboys running attack amidst the absence of Ezekiel Elliott. Head coach Jason Garrett addressed the unprecedented move at his most recent press conference: “I know this may raise a lot of eyebrows but everything we’ve seen from this dog gives us a lot of optimism going forward with our run game.”

Scouts have noted that Chico’s explosive speed and power is just what the Cowboys need to breathe new life into this offense. “Chico has the burst to find holes at the line and squeeze through them in a heartbeat.”

The Cowboys are certainly hoping that Chico will provide them the big plays that they currently are in desperate need of. QB Dak Prescott even weighed in, “Yeah I mean I’ve seen it for myself. That dog can really shake and bake. He’s extremely difficult to bring down too. I saw our guys in practice with him. Chico puts a move on you and he’s gone. I’m excited.”

Cowboys Owner/GM Jerry Jones is the one who discovered Chico and came up with the idea of having the Canine join America’s team as a ball carrier. “The thing I love about that dog aside from his power and agility is his passion to protect the football. You gotta see this dog. He is so protective over his toys. Once he gets that football, trust me, no defenders are gonna be able to force any turnovers on him. He’s not giving up that football. I hope even the refs will be alright after the play.”

Chico will take over current running back Rod Smith’s spot on the depth chart.
