Due to the lack of money Central has, the Superintendent and the Board of Trustee's have decided that it is time for an end.
" We are going to try to get all of the current Central High School students placed in a better environment " - ( Mayor Tyler Dennis ). 3 schools is allowing us to place 150 students in their building . Anderson High School is allowing 168 students and that will be available mainly for the students that resides from From South Willard Street all the way to South Walmart, Yorktown High School will take ALL WHITELY STUDENTS; they declared that they had enough room so that's where our kids will be, then we have Burris which is a college preparation school so they will accept the top 90 GPA's starting at a 3.0
