In a shocking development, Nintendo has formally announced its partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainement to make not just one Mario movie, but multiple.
"We saw the announcement of a Tetris movie trilogy, which is a good thing for cinema" the CEO of Nintendo of America announced. "We went full Sonic speed with this idea as, like Tetris, Mario has a very rich story, detailed plots, character development, etc, that rivals the greatest movies of all time like The Godfather and everybody's favourite, The Emoji Movie."
It is unknown just when this ambitious project will come into play, but you can bet your gold coins and mega mushrooms the Mario fan base is about to extend further that it's video game origins and several cartoons.
