At yesterdays Sinn Fein event in Belfast , at which present party president Gerry Adams announced Marylou McDonald will soon replace him as president. A reporter from a well known Irish daily newspaper posed the following question to Marylou " Would she as party leader finally confront the bullys within her party .."
Marylou's reply to this question can only be described as "Bizarre"
Her outburst was met with gasps from many in the media that were present, Marylou's
reply was " I cant be constantly going around playing the role of mammy, from now on I
will only be playing the role of Queen Bee .."
She continued " And as Queen Bee , I need Workers not Whingers .. If I am ever to
become this country's First Female Taoiseach .."
" And if my party members are not prepared to be Workers, then they can Walk .."
It certainly seems the newspaper reporter involved, touched a very raw nerve ...
A Bizarre Encounter ... to say the least ...
