After leaving the Swans for Manchester City for a transfer price of £8 million in 2012, the English winger has been bought back by Swansea from Scottish club Celtic at a fee of £22 million plus add-ons (Sky Sports). Celtic are currently 11 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, while Swansea sit bottom of the English Premier League. Sinclair will receive £45,000 increase in wages on his new contract with Swansea, lasting until 2022. His buyout clause sits at £55 million, with Swansea hoping to keep him at the club for as long as possible. Sinclair has passed his medical at the South Wales side, and is set to start training in the week to come.
