SOUTHEND is set to build a 35,000 sq ft KFC at Roots Hall when it moves to its planned new stadium. It is believed to be the biggest KFC to ever be built and will sell exclusive KFC merchandise alongside fast-food.

The Southend United football club is about to build a 21,000-seater stadium at Fossetts Farm in Eastern Avenue, Southend. The old Stadium, located at Victoria Avenue, is set to become an enormous KFC superstore expected to be opened in May - July 2019 by Roger Eaton, President of KFC ltd.
