Vegas has never laughed harder. Although competition has sprung up all over the country to compete against Vegas’s mega-casinos, putting a dent into Sin City’s casinos profits. There still remains one area that Vegas reins supreme and that is sports betting. Although some estimate that there is well over 10 billion bet on sports through unsanctioned avenues, Vegas isn’t worried because the bottom line is this, “these guys are awful at their craft,” says Vinny Becerio, the Wynn’s Director of Sports betting. “I mean we got imbeciles popping up for 2 days in places like Indianapolis, claiming they are legit, yet they last no more than 48 hours, do no halftime lines and are scared to take an NBA bet,” Vinny continued. In the long run it is yet to be decided how Vegas will look in a decade, but one thing is for sure with idiot bookies popping up, there will be one area Vegas never has to sweat.
