In a long expected move President Trump has accepted the resignation of White House Chief of staff General John Kelley and named as his replacement Richard B. Spencer.
Spencer, President of The National Policy Institute and Summit Publishers has been a lecturer and writer on issues of immigration and racial tensions in America for many years.
"Richard will be a wonderful fit in the position of Chief of Staff" the President said in a statement issued by the White House. "We are totally in sync on many issues that I campaigned on and has shown himself to be a strong leader"
Spencer, a Boston native received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters from the University of Chicago. He is 39 years old.
Spencer and his wife Russian analyst Nina Kouprianova PhD have one child and live in Whitefish Montana. He will become Chief of Staff effective on April first.
