LONDON, UK — The beloved British TV series is set to be cancelled after a shocking episode aired last Friday. Many parents were appalled to hear a curse word in the new episode, titled "Peppa's Pizza Party".

At around 3:30 in the episode, Peppa and her friends are taking money out of Peppa's piggy bank to tip the pizza delivery man, Roger Rhino. Shockingly, it appears that a mistake in the voice acting slipped past the editors - after Harley Bird (Peppa's current voice actor) finishes her line, thanking Roger Rhino for the pizza, the microphone mistakenly kept recording, capturing Harley's controversial words.

"This is so f**king stupid", says Harley, laughing. More laughing is heard before the recording cuts off. We took to the streets to find out what parents think of the situation.

Jennifer Huxley, a local mum of two, says "It's appalling, really. My 4-year-old is going around saying 'fuck' to her friends. We even got a call from the day-care centre."

"This is the last straw", comments Thomas Perry, a dad of two who is leading a movement set on cancelling the series, and it seems that he's succeeding.

His Facebook page, "Ban Peppa Pig", has amassed 41,000 likes and counting. Entertainment One, the company behind the series, has apologised profusely, but that might not be enough. Channel 5 says it will no longer air the show, and condemns Entertainment One for continuing production. Support for cancelling the series is rapidly growing, and unless Entertainment One does something drastic, Peppa Pig will surely never be seen on British television again.

Entertainment One refused to be interviewed for this article.
