In a joint effort to create the quarterback of the future, Boston Dynamics and Brett Favre have team up to create the first football playing cyborg. The word cyborg is a shortened version of ‘cybernetic organism’. The term was coined in 1960 by Manfred Clynes and Nathan S Clyne. A cyborg is any living being that has both organic and mechanical/electrical parts that either restore or enhance the organism’s functioning. Robots and droids do not fall into this category.

When asked about his return Favre said that he was in the best condition of his life and thought he still had what it takes to play in the league, although he did state, "the constant recharging on the sideline and the constant WD-40 was something he would have to get used to.

When asked about whether the rules would allow for a QB to play in the league, an NFL spokesman replied, "Well, I don' know. We never explicitly stated that only humans could play in the rulebook. What even is he?"
